Trou aux Cerfs – also known as Murr’s volcano, 603 metres high, found in Curepipe. Volcano is dormant but may become active at any time within the next thousand years.
Ganga Talao (Indian sacred lake) – located in the mountains in the south eastern part of Mauritius at an elevation of about 700 m and is surrounded by the lush green of the mountains. The lake is surrounded by temples and spectacular statues of Indian Divinities.
