Situated in the southern part of your park’s visit you will get to stroll through the reserve along a 2km long trail allowing you to discover an emerging forest and some very rare plants.

You will be able to stroll amongst giant tortoises, see the rare Rodrigues fruit bat and also opt for a guided tour of the magnificent caves, which is unique to this area of the island.

There is more than 650 radiated tortoises and 600 Aldabra tortoises.

Guided tour of the Cave Visit to the Giant Tortoises museum you can have your photograph in the park.

Trou aux Cerfs – also known as Murr’s volcano, 603 metres high, found in Curepipe. Volcano is dormant but may become active at any time within the next thousand years.
Ganga Talao (Indian sacred lake) – located in the mountains in the south eastern part of Mauritius at an elevation of about 700 m and is surrounded by the lush green of the mountains. The lake is surrounded by temples and spectacular statues of Indian Divinities.
Black River Viewpoint – Black River gorges is a national park of 6574 hectares with magnificent landscapes, endemic plats and rare bird species. Trekking experiences available with prior arrangement.
